1) Leviticus 25:1-8

2) Leviticus 25:8-17
What was the Year of Jubilee? What were the purposes of observing it? How was obedience to this command an act of faith? How did it demonstrate their fear of God (v. 17)?
3) Leviticus 25:18-28
How is the practice of Jubilee different form the philosophy most people live by? How would this practice effect the Israelites’ view of, and relationship with, God and each other?
4) Leviticus 25:29-38
In verse 38, why did God give them this reminder? How does the idea of redemption in the Year of Jubilee relate to the idea of redemption from sin and death through Jesus? What do these commands about Sabbath days, years and the Jubilee Year teach us about God’s character? Do you trust God enough to observe and celebrate Sabbath rest?
