1) Exodus 1:1-14, 23-25
How did the Israelites end up in Egypt? How was life for them in Egypt? What was God’s relationship to Israel?
2) Exodus 3:1-9
Where was Moses, and what was he doing? What caught his attention? Why did God tell Moses to take off his sandals? What made it that way? In verses 7-8, God had four reactions to Israel’s plight. What were they? What was His plan for Israel’s future?
3) Exodus 3:10-15
What was Moses’ reaction to his job from God? Have you ever had this reaction when God led you to do something new? How would God be re-introduced to the Israelites?
4) Exodus 3:16-22
What predictions did God tell Moses? What would Moses be responsible for in this plan? What was surprising about this plan?
